Curator's Notes 

By asking: "What is the epitome of our artistry?" - Japan's leading brush making company, Shaquda, landed on the answer in their latest series, Jiva. The series redefines how we look at grooming by providing tools that use highest quality natural bristles combined with impeccable traditional craftsmanship to offer luxurious moments of self-care. Their relentless pursuit of perfection brings forth a layered bristle design that has a precision blend of different textures and lengths selected to seamlessly glide on skin for comfort and cleansing.

This Cleansing and Shaving system offers pieces for a refined daily routine. A textured pattern in the porcelain bowl provides grip and increased lather. The walnut lid transforms it into a storage unit for lathering soaps and a resting place to fit the brush snuggly on top for accelerated drying. Each brush, which can stand on its own, is made of varying bristle lengths to contour around the face and remove impurities or to apply shaving cream. There is a feel for every preference: for a gentle caress, and "Hard" for more firm stimulation.
